MEET PACIFIC FUSION

We are a family business consisting of a photographer and a kimono dresser/photography assistant. We started as a hobbyist photographer, wanting to capture family memories and landscapes in Japan. After immigrating to the US in 2005 and locating to San Diego in 2010, we wanted to give back to the local Japanese and San Diego community.

Working closely with local Kimono rental service Yuko Niwa, we mainly photograph people of all ages and cultures wearing traditional Japanese Kimonos. We also work with the Japanese Friendship Garden at Balboa Park and photograph at annual traditional Japanese holidays, such as Shichi-Go-San, Seijinshiki, and more!
